Reaching the Peak ... Dicey Peaks

Board Games – After being hit with a bunch of snow over the holidays it seems appropriate to work on painting up some mountain climbers and oxygen tanks. These simple miniatures belong to a board game called Dicey Peaks, a press your luck game designed by the same guy who did the Tiny Epic series. Geekdad.com did a really good review of the game if you're interested in learning more.

My client requested these be painted up in the colors of the plastic tokens, so my color choices were pretty simple. I tried to make each of the climbers look like they're wearing performance hiking gear. The effect works, I think...

The oxygen tanks were painted to match the colors of the pawns with metallic dents and dings added to make them look well used.
