Devil Island Is Coming - Super Dungeon Explore Returns!

Board Games – Clan Ijin are invading Super Dungeon Explore in the new starter set Super Dungeon Explore: Devil Island. This newest edition to the chibi style adventure game adds some improvements to help speed the game along as well as allow for the the heroes to retain some of their gear in the campaign system that Super Dungeon: Legends promised to deliver.
I painted up my Clan Ijin from Ninja All-Stars to get ready for the release. Ninja Division has been doing a pretty good job talking up the new edition with their Rolling Stars posts. Bomechan is the big bad for this dungeon and she’s going to be a challenge for the heroes. The rest of her clan look interesting and I can’t wait the try them out.
As with many of the Chibi figures I’ve been painting lately I took adavantage of Citadel’s line of Contrast paints. These paints seem to work really well getting down a quick base coat and them help to bring out the areas that need to be highlighted.
Ninja Division does a good job of posting the cards on the shop page. Which is really useful because when Ninja All-Stars was released they had a pretty limited amount of cards/characters that crossed over. Now it seems that they’ve made rules for all the ninjas to be used in Super Dungeon.
