Board Games – CMON loves their kickstarters and they love parody stretch goals so much so that it’s become expected anytime they launch a new project. Nostalgia and Fandom are big motivators and for people that pass or miss the initial offering it can be super annoying trying to collect everything for a game they decide they love.
Hopefully these two boxes see large scale release because the Throne Troopers and Zenith Invasion boxes are really great. I had a blast painting these up to match the box art even though I was really tempted to match the colors of the properties these parody.
With both sets I used Citadels Contrast paints over a normal primer and then applied so traditional layering techniques to finish off the models. I kept the bases simple metallic so they will blend into the bright sci-fi board that come with the game.
