Board Games – Some game feature miniatures that don’t really need to be painted, but it’s pretty amazing how a simple basecoat and wash can take simple plastic ships to something really cool.
Games like this have an insane amount of pawns that would be cost prohibitive to paint in a typical style. I started with a single expansion to see if I could come up with a method that would be quick and easy to get all these tiny components painted.
I settled on painting everything with a brushed metallic silver color. With that as a base I applied one coat of Citadel’s Contrast Agros Dunes over the top. I then picked out the lettering with yellow.
