Who Ya Gonna Call?

Board Games – The Ghostbusters board game by Cryptozoic doesn’t have a tone of miniatures that require paint. Most of the ghosts are cast in transparent plastic so painting them would loose the ghostly effect. I previously had painted my own Kickstarter version of this game which has significantly more models than the retail version. The game feels a bit like Zombicide with a different skin on it so you’re level of enjoyment may vary, however playing through missions that feel like the movie, old cartoon and comic mixed together is pretty fun.

Board Games – Several years ago the Ghostbusters board game was on Kickstarter. When I finally got it in hand I played it once and put the game on the shelf. It’s not because the game was bad but more so because the game is involved and unless you want to play solo getting people dedicated to playing through a boar game campaign is hard.

Who ya gonna call? Book Review

Book Review – So there was recently a kickstarter to the Ghostbusters Boardgame based on a combination of the movies, cartoon and IDW comic series. This campaign reminded me of how much I loved the franchise as a kid and made me eager to devour anything Ghostbusters related I could find. So yes I did manage to track down the Xbox 360 version of the game and plan on playing the "official" third installment as soon as I can find the time to indulge my console.
