Board Games – I’ve painted up a few of the expansions for Mythic Battles previously, mostly just extra monsters/heroes. This time around I painted up one of the core boxes for the game.
With 37 miniatures the core box is pretty packed with plastic. The figures range from large size gods and monsters to smaller scale heroes to slightly smaller troops. The scaling I assume helps to represent their importance on the board. As with the previous kits I’ve painted for this game the sculpts are very nice for a board game. Nothing ground breaking but nice.
The games sounds pretty cool Post-Apocalyptic Ancient Greece. Boardgamegeek has a pretty decent write-up detailing the game.

Board Games – Mythic Battles continues to trickle across my desk I Imagine the core box will eventually make its way here and I’ll have a significantly longer post about that project. As it stands this is an expansion for the game by Monolith Games.
With the boxes I’ve painted so far I’m impressed with the quality of the sculpts, particularly the larger monsters.
Mythic Battles – Atlas

Board Games – Atlas bears the weight of the world on his shoulders. Which might explain why he’s so grouchy looking. This model is an expansion set for Mythic Battles that adds another character.
I really like this take on the Giant, four-arms with a saddle on his back just adds character.

Board Games – Mythic Battles is a fairly large game. My client sent over just a small expansion featuring some of the monsters. These are pretty nice sculpts, the Basilisk and Manticore are exceptional, however the wolf is a bit lacking.
