On the painting table ... You can't take the sky from me

Boardgames – Yes indeed Browncoats, the Firefly board game is now on my painting table. I've never had the pleasure of playing the game but I was a big fan of the show and movie, so I'm really happy to be painting up these ships.

My client sent over some photos of some paint schemes she liked which consisted of a mostly metallic silver with a wash. She wanted the ships to be identifiable by color without doing color bands on the wings. My solution was to adjust the glow for each ship to be a unique color. It's subtle and when combined with a color band on the base makes it easy to tell which ship is which.

Just a bit more work to do before I can call these complete.
