Rusty Buckets - Bringing the Gifts

Warhammer 40,000 – Death Guard are gross. Gross is surprising fun to paint. The latest batch for my clients ongoing Death Guard Force includes some Rhinos and Predators. This addition of armor will give him some ranged firepower to back up his slogging troops.
I started with a base of Death Guard Green, did an all-over wash of Athonian Camoshade and let that dry. Then I painted the metallic bits and stippled a Burnt Umber paint over the models I wanted to show rust and wear, to blend these areas together I spot washed Agrax Earthshade where needed. Once that was dry, I stippled/dry-brushed the Ryza Rust. It’s a really simple technique that looks great on the table and is easy to do,
