Dungeons & Dragons – I'm just aboiut done with these fire demons. It's a bit odd because the models aren't technically sculpted like they're on fire so I'm really just winging it to determine where the hot spots should be and where it cools down to more of an orange from the white and yellow areas. I'm happy with the results and I feel like the models are conveying that made from flame look.
Read MoreDungeons and Dragons – And then there was one. I saved the winged demon for last, this model goes along with the rest of the Heresy Miniatures demons I've been working on. Blue is one of the less common colors I paint and as such it tend to take me a little longer to get it right.

Read MoreDungeons & Dragons – Blue, pink and green are not in my typical comfort zone on models. I've done each as a main color individually but never all together. The second half of the demon job I'm working on pulls those colors together.
Read MoreDungeons & Dragons – This demon job seems to be taking significantly longer than usual. After several variations I think I finally got the skin tone right on these plague demons. It's a shame my camera isn't picking up all the subtle variations in tone, I suppose once I'm done and set up the light box and use my real camera instead of my phone the photos will showcase the sick skin color.
Read MoreDungeons & Dragons – The Netherlords are moving along pretty nicely. I'm taking my time with these models. The base coats on these two are down and I'm getting ready to figure out what type of lighting effect I want to do with them.
Read MoreDungeons and Dragons – I've got some more paint down on the demon project. My client requested a blue pink blend on this minotaur which reminds me of Pantone's Dual Color of the Year. It should look interesting once I get the blending right, but at the color block stage it reminds me of a weird blacklight poster.

I haven't had a need for any of these since I quite playing Chaos in 40K, however one of my regular clients did pick up a few of these models to use in his D&D campaign. I'm excited to paint these up as he has requested my top level.
