Warhammer 40,000 – This batch of models are a few Necron characters along with a few MDF Terrain pieces. The painting is pretty basic tabletop quality.
Warhammer 40,000 – I’ve had this Custodes force on my table for some time. I opted to break it up into several smaller projects because painting this much red and gold can get tedious. I have a pretty simple recipe that involves a copper base coat, gold and a agrax wash. Once that dries I pick out the details and call them done.
Warhammer 40,000 – I’m really happy with how these Tempestus Scions turned out. I think the higher contrast snow camo makes them pop on the table while still fitting in with the “arctic camo” idea.
Read MoreWarhammer 40,000 – I think I’m near the end of the infantry for my current Deathwatch client. This batch has a few more Vanguard Vets and some armed to the teeth Primaris Marines. As with the previous models I started with a dark grey base, painted the gun metal bits and then washed with Nuln Oil. This is my standard for painting black at the basic level. The wash accomplishes the shading and highlights well enough with minimal effort. For a budget job many of my clients will chose this option.
